Health awareness in Indonesian society is increasing with developing of global technology and spreading of health information from media, either electronic or non-electronic. According to that condition, health workers are also pushed to provide health facilities that are able to complete those needs. Health awareness is come from both men and women so that they seek health facilities not only when they feel sick but also when they do medical check-up as a preventive action. One of the preventive action is self-examination of the breast. Self-examination is done to detect various pathologies early, so that they can be treated well. The increasing demand and the expectation of high quality health facilities are pushing doctors and health workers to increase their knowledge and comprehension, especially in breast examination and prevention. Therefore, Radiology Study Program of Diponegoro University’s Faculty of Medicine held a guest lecture via online, themed “Imaging of Breast and Gynaecology”, to increase residents’ knowledge and comprehension about women’s genital organs health.
The purposes of this guest lecture about “Imaging of Breast and Gynecology” are :
- To increase residents’ knowledge about breast imaging and other sub topics so that they can be a superior and competitive radiology specialists
- To diagnose cases correctly and give the best solution
- To keep providing guest lectures for both residents and medical doctors during Covid-19 era
